at 24mm, 8 sec f/2.8, ISO 800, tripod. Wadi Rum desert, Jordan.

#landscape #lunghesposizioni #stelle #notturno

thank you all for the appreciation! :-)
Sergio if you look at the photo in high resolution, you'll see that does not have a good depth of field. I chose that diaphragm to try to capture even a few stars.

Thanks Piero, I went alone by car from Amman, I never had a feeling of perkola, but only. Of hospitality

Mirko, forgive me, but it is clear that these are two shots, however, fused together in a far from perfect. I would say that the figure of the girl was added in post. ;-) The idea was not evil, but it certainly was better achieved :-D

Raffaele forgive me, but you're wrong.
It is a single shot

The idea is beautiful but there is Something in the image that I do not understand ... perhaps the excessive brightness, the fact that the girl seems "detached" from the landscape, or perhaps the sand that seems flattened. Something does not convince me and, I clarify, I do not mean in shooting mode but rather in post production ...

Was there a particularly bright moon?

Berserk, the sand I flattened it in post production, there was a full moon that was very bright that night. The photo has undergone a strong post-production (perhaps even wrong or not pleasant at all), but it is only one shot sorts no type of photo insertion

now it's clear :)! maybe try to make a less pushed version, the shot is nice (I try to imagine the initial scene, without tweaks) but you have exaggerated in my opinion with the post.

I read your answer, Mirko, and I apologize if I thought it could be two shots, but then, allow me, you had to use a post decidedly different and better to do justice to this shot as it deserves ;-)
A greeting

Raffaele, no excuses figuratively, thanks for the advice, :-) I'll try to redo the post production
