Ciao Marco,
abbiamo navigato a sud dello Storfiorden e poi verso nord est verso la Gustav Adolf Land, Di Polar bear ne ho visti 23 in tre giorni sempre dalla nave .Avevamo a bordo forse il più grande esperto di orsi polari, il canadese Ian Sterling. So di essere stato fortunato e ho degli scatti non ancora processati che mi ricordano tante situazioni. Non so che tipo di navigazione tu abbia fatto ma intorno a Longyearbyan quest'anno c'era poco

we sailed south of Storfiorden and then north east to Gustav Adolf Land Of Polar bear I've seen 23 in three days always from the ship. aboard We had perhaps the greatest expert on polar bears, Canadian Ian Sterling. I know I was lucky and I have not yet tried the shots that remind me of so many situations. I do not know what kind of navigation you did but this year there was not much around Longyearbyan

Grazie per le info, noi abbiamo puntato sull'estremo nord, ma purtroppo la banchisa si è sciolta con molto anticipo quest'anno e sembra che gli orsi avessero puntato in massa verso sud e verso est, abbiamo incontrato varie imbarcazioni che provenivano dalla banchisa, fra cui una troupe di documentaristi, e a tutti era andata più o meno come a noi. Ero su un barca francese, lo skipper gira per l'artico da oltre vent'anni e a quanto pare quest'anno la situazione del ghiaccio è davvero strana...
Thanks for the info, we have focused on the extreme north, but unfortunately the ice has melted earlier than usual this year and it seems that the bears had pointed in mass to the south and east, we met several boats that came from the ice, including a crew of documentary filmmakers, and all went more or less like us. I was on a French boat, the skipper turns to the Arctic for over twenty years and apparently this year the ice situation is really strange ...
