favorite tidbit sent on June 09, 2016 (20:00) by Steff. 23 comments, 978 views. [retina]

Beautiful Steff,
excellent color and subject with prey, slightly less sharp the rest of the beak, but just, just, of course taking into account the 6.5 megapizzoni. ;-) I would give a little 'selective sharp.

Andy we already ;-)
thanks anyway for the advice
I could avoid the HD but the fault it seemed acceptable ...
Unfortunately, the subject was moving rhythmically beak and the weather was not sufficiente.infatti you notice that the effect blur and light + near the eye and stronger on the prey where there is the maximum oscillation.

I am a newcomer to the nature photography and do not understand that your taste of splitting hairs.
I think the image should be enjoyed as a whole and as a whole is simply sublime.
Congratulations to the author who was at the right place at the right time also to Canon mom and compliments that she also did her share (never forget).
Francis

Thanks Francesco, too generous!
see, personally I do not aspire to technical perfection but I try to make fewer mistakes and can tell you that self-criticism and constructive criticism of other members are the best way to grow and take advantage of the equipment at best.
A greeting

By Stephen, Christopher Francis is right, the picture is beautiful and posing with the prey equally.
Fortunato's time that you also putting in plain sight, the shake-on part of the bill is laughable.
But I, at 66 Andy difference I see too much saturation of the green aquatic plants, only this if you want to be really picky.
Bravo and congratulations
Best wishes Robertino

I thank all x interventions.
This photo is not quite right and proper constructive criticism was looking for.
otherwise I put in 1200px and pulled straight .... but it's not what I want!
Andy66 friend sent me via mp an interpretation in which camera shake is ... removed.
so for him a supergrazie, for me two lashes!
Ps I do not use but only Lr 2 plugin.questo I know that is a handicap but each has its limitations.
Now if Andy does not want to be banned :-D :-D :-D
I must say, as he did, and I will try to apply this technique with my meager means.
ue I thought I had made much progress in PP but here I realized that there is still much to do: -o

I think the image has some defects and 2 great qualities .... below is too narrow, because the background is a levee behind (not spatial) would have reduced more so .... squacco is askance, then lose something is the almost mathematical (and here beak and cheek know iti) ...... the eye finally, because no net, I would not have emphasized that much .... I find also very pleasant and managed colors, whites and overall cleanliness of the file and then click the like ... sgarza above average ;-)

Thanks Lore
How do you see the photo is made with doubler and is very narrow.
To get around the subject in the frame af point is on the neck and not on eye as you dovrebbe.il fire is acceptable just because f10 to 20mt the pdc is decente.come know to f8 the focus point is a fixed one and centrale.purtroppo this is one "compromise click" .between the other very lover because just taken the mole cricket squacco has been attacked by a seagull and this has inflated

Always a wonderful subject for more 'with prey in hd you notice what you say but I still think a very valuable shot precisely for the situation caught, or when the natural aspect is prevalent in the judgment of one naturalistico.Ciao shooting; -)

GOOD DAY !!!
thanks to some friends and Andy cooperation I discovered that the problem of camera shake could solve it in a minute .... in the plugins I use is the Deblur function to be used with a suitable brush.
The moral is simple, if I hid the problem with a fotina 1200px I would not have learned anything.
.... then use the brush is good :-D :-D
Thanks again to everyone and if you find Andy66 pay him a cup of coffee on my part!
(Except the Great who has the vipers in your pocket :-))

Ok after that Andy :-D 66 is screwed me knows that I'll have to offer him more than a coffee !! 8-)

Moving on to the pictures, the result is not bad, the movement of the head and the weak time caused the effect of which you mentioned, but for me, to avercene so !! ;-)

I agree fully with what was said by Francesco Cristadoro. I add that, if the "free hand" and 'true (without any support), is half a miracle that it came so' perfect. I love it. For avercene so '.

I like stories with happy endings !!
Hi Stefano ;-)
PS.
if you use too much brush remember to make use of supplements ....
