Grazie a tutti del passaggio!
Lo scatto è stato eseguito inquadrando l'avocetta e scattando a raffica nel momento in cui si contraeva abbassandosi per evitare l'attacco ... i numerosi tentativi di seguire la picchiata della sterna infatti si erano rivelati infruttuosi.
L'attacco avviene con qualche istante di "spirito santo" a 5 o 6 m3tri di altezza ed una picchiata velocissima che mira a colpire l'avocetta col becco sul capo o sul collo. Questo istante è di quelli che definisco "altrimenti invisibile" poichè ad occhio si percepisce solo "un missilotto bianco" che sfiora l'avocetta per ritornare in quota e picchiare di nuovo.
Anche in questa situazione l'ottica fissa ho trovato che sia un limite.

The shot was performed by framing the avocet and snapping in bursts when contracted lowering to avoid the attack ... numerous attempts to follow the beaten tern in fact were to no avail.
The attack takes place with a few moments of "holy spirit" to 5 or 6 m3tri tall and a fast beat that aims to strike the avocet beak on the head or neck. This moment is what I call "otherwise invisible" to the eye as it is perceived only "a missilotto white" that touches the avocet to return to share and beat again.
Even in this situation the fixed optics I found that both a limit.
