This is the situation that I think deserve a tripod and two or more exposures, to be joined later in post, to have, on the one hand this spplendido color of the sky, on the other hand, the detail in the village, that it is too sacrificed.

Saluti Luca

Hello Alvar Mayor of thanks to be passed, you're right using a tripod it took everything I had on me and think that even the GND filters, but unfortunately I had to do everything on the fly, because I had stopped with the camper almost middle of the road, Qusta was the only time that I arrived the sun was going down. Regards Luca

Ciao e a presto!!

Luke, nice pictures even though the Mont Saint Michel is a bit underexposed ...
Here GND filters (so you bought them?) Have not helped that much as you would have darkened even more on the subject.
You are not able to recover a little the shadows?

Here, the only alternative was to go west of the island and take in favor of light, but now you would not have had more time!
I hope to go there myself one day, although lately I'm dabbling in travel outside Europe.
Hello and see you soon!

Ciao Luca

Hello Marco glad you like it, for the underexposure of the village perhaps rearranging the files I could get something better, to be honest I had more of it dedicated to lighten the foreground. It filters I purchased (it's your fault ;-)) although almost at the end of travel, in England, are the cokin, not lee unfortunately, but to start going well, I also bought a backpack photo, saving compared to the price that I saw here in Luke Roma.Ciao
