empty church sent on May 25, 2016 (22:06) by Fiosco. 45 comments, 1872 views. [retina]

at 18mm, 1/30 f/4.0, ISO 400, hand held.

in fact the location is unique and charming. the fact then being stripped, enhances the architectural beauty (marble, cross vaults and frescoes embedded in times) and the state of neglect and abandonment that probably this establishment does not deserve. Regarding your consider a photo
technically "wrong"
, well ... I tell you that technically wrong I do not find the use of short focal length (which contextualizes rather well), but too much time short for a free hand, he probably joined some excess PP has created too effect "washed out" and watercolor, little affected. he deserved a longer exposure, ISO sensitivity based on the easel, to emphasize those beautiful details

Pandemonium I am soooooo grateful for the comment. Unfortunately I can not attend to family matters for now courses and workshops, and everything I've learned is the result of study on the books, the internet, and of course practical tips for those who like you are trying to help me. In fact I was then returned to the scene of the "crime" and I did just what you have well described. I can just load the image.

He passes well to make me a whistle, if I were to lose it ... I'd be curious to see the result

very beautiful, maybe I would have been more central to have more symmetry, however beautiful. :-P :-P

Thanks for Eugenio passage and also for the advice. I have some central shots but did not convince me. But given your observation I try to throw an eye.

Fiosco Hello, I must say that I like the pictures, it gives a good idea of ??the structural degradation at the same time fascinating for its naturalness. For the photo I leave judgment to other more 'expert, but I do not see flaws, I have posted worse. Greetings Loris.

I thank Lorisb for the support, I promised myself to come back and do a long exposure with tripod as suggested by Pandamonium. Each shot in the photograph is in its own unique way but surely gives you the opportunity to repeat, correct errors and test new solutions.
Thanks for the ride ;-)

It looks like a converted church for so is bare. if not it is a real shame because I think I see a state of neglect and decay rather advanced. I agree with eugenio bags on more central pdr. for the rest I like it. hello mauro

To me this shooting does not mind, though, it is obvious the possibility of improvements, but this is true for almost all the shots ... The light I really like .. !!
A greeting.. ;-)

Shooting deserves, however there are a number of errors which, although not so serious, it penalizes. The first thing you notice is the lack of clarity, I do not know if due to shake or some artifact came out in the process of PP and at one step in general is important. You were not on the bubble so the vertical lines run away a bit '. It is not very marked then you may also correct in PP. I cloned the chair with the poster and finally I tried one pp less driven, more natural. So it seems almost a hdr. In terms of composition there is symmetry, but you've probably got your reasons and I personally do not think it is something essential to achieve the symmetry at all costs. What can I say, nice picture but leaves a little 'bitter taste in the mouth.

The beautiful location, really interesting. We come to shoot. I do not know if the pdr was required or not but I am a bit 'fixed with the symmetries, then personally I would look for a more central pdr. Analyzing him well-known shooting something wrong in the sharpness level (is an HDR?). I like rather a lot the colors, I look quite natural. Overall I find it interesting but potentially improvable.

I see the photo slightly move and this bothers me enough. The colors I like and also the church is very interesting. It is certainly unusual as picture. The resume point does not convince me. It will be trivial, but I would have preferred a shot perfectly symmetrical. In my opinion, the outlook would have earned.

Also in my opinion it lacks a bit 'of sharpness, maybe a little' shake-given by the absence of tripods. In contrast to the state of neglect, however, there are some items (candles and fresh flowers) they do understand that the place is still lived. I do not mind the decentralized perspective.

Thank you, to be able to comment on a picture like this is not easy because I understand that there are things to be improved, of course I am referring to the PP as the shot remains that, I definitely try to do something, however, the camera shake is due to the absence tripod.
I went back several times to try to take a picture with PDR different and symmetrical but the result I was never impressed. When I have in my hands the 8-16 I definitely try again! Thanks again to all

Beautiful location.
For me the focal okay as well, only I would have preferred a front pdr.
Perhaps there is a shake-haired, given the shutter speed you were just on the edge, the stabilizer perhaps worked badly.
In any case, I like the colors and how it is represented on the subject.
