, 1/160 f/4.0, ISO 400, hand held.

I spotted Saturday morning, I was at Avendita in Umbria at the Kart track "The Oaks" ... around there were several oaks and oaks

I'd say it looks a lot like this that I found after your information: www.linnea.it/coleoptera-coccinelle-scarabei/morimus-asper.php

The identificazine of this cerambicide is correct. Nice composition, the colors, the maf, the focus and the point of recovery. Given the proximity to the subject and reduced pdc I closed the aperture to F8 (thus raising the iso) and left in a bit of air to the left (where it was heading) - IMHO -. hello and good light, laurel

Thanks Lauro of passage and advice. I shoot with f4 because the area we were in was very shaded. The first shot I did with ISO 100 and it was almost dark, then as I said I was on the bulb of the increase ISO. Not knowing if it was an insect killer that I would be able to eat alive, I had closed a little 'mood and I took a bit' random and speaking little. :-|
If I were to happen again a further meeting with this cerambicide, now that I know only eat the wood and not the photographers :-) I will try to immortalize it better!

Grazie Luca. MrGreenMrGreen

Thanks Luke. In fact, the 70-200 is not very macro, the minimum distance of focus is about 1.20 meters! :-D:-D
