at 10mm, 25 sec f/6.3, ISO 100, tripod.

I had to keep walking up to the corner with the lamp to get it to switch on again, as this little church at Whitsbury, Hampshire, is quite secluded high up on a hill, with no roads to it! And though you can't see them in this time exposure, there were BATS swooping and flitting around! #LongExposure #BlueHour #Churches

Lovely image, Tim! I like the way thelight is illuminating the gravestone!

It must have been great to see the bats swooping about!

Thank you Ann. I'm not a great lover of bats, I don't really mind them but I soon realised that I was still some 4 or 5 miles from my meeting point with the last bus home and so I soon had to find my way over fields in the almost dark. But that's what adventures are for!

Bellisisma this old church. You recreated well lonely and intimate atmosphere of the place. Bats fail me, I hope to see this year near the house, on the outskirts of a small town. A cordial greeting .. :-P
