Prima di partire per la Finlandia mi era stato chiesto se potevo garantire di vedere il lupo perché sembra che qualcuno lo facesse..... A me non piace promettere a vanvera perché avendo che fare con gli animali le certezze sono poche, soprattutto se si parla di lupo................. Un animale tra i più elusivi e con un territorio così vasto che per pattugliarlo ci mette circa 2 settimane... Però avevamo monitorato la situazione molto attentamente per diverse settimane e sapevo che ci sarebbero state concrete possibilità... La terza sera abbiamo saputo dal ricercatore che li segue che il lupo con il radiocollare è passato vicino al capanno al buio intorno alla mezzanotte mentre il quarto giorno, ne sono passati 2 intorno alle 5 del mattino con una splendida luce ed un pelo meraviglioso! Io, pur essendo il più vicino non ho scattato perché non volevo spaventarli e preferivo che le foto le potessero fare i miei compagni di viaggio. Il giorno dopo però sempre grazie ad un amico finlandese ho avuto un altra occasione speciale realizzando il sogno di poter fotografare un lupo mentre attraversava una lago ghiacciato....... Luglio ed Agosto dovrebbero essere ottimi per fotografare i lupi perché quest' anno c'è una situazione che fa pensare che una femmina con i suoi 3 cuccioli di quasi un anno dovrebbe essere più visibile del solito... Io penso di organizzare un viaggio per questo ( ma non solo....) e chi è interessato può contattarmi fin da ora...
