Il ghiacciaio Perito Moreno è un ghiacciaio situato nel Parco nazionale Los Glaciares. Questa formazione di ghiaccio si estende per 250 km² e per 30 chilometri in lunghezza; prende il nome dall'esploratore argentino Francisco Pascasio Moreno, un pioniere che studiò tutta la regione e che nel 1902 fu nominato Perito ( tecnico specialista od esperto), per questi motivi ebbe un ruolo assai importante nella difesa del territorio argentino nel conflitto sorto intorno alla disputa sui confini con il Cile.
