at 500mm, 1/2500 f/7.1, ISO 400, hand held. Specie: Merops apiaster

For Duccia: E 'today's image as I said. compare it with those following in this gallery, made last year with slightly better light (softer, because when the sun is lower the light must filter through atmospheric vapor and dust accumulations, if not slight haze, even on a clear day) .
I hope I was helpful, hello.

hard light but not bad anyway, then I like that you have not exaggerated with the PP, as you said, the least I see a good picture, then in general the moment to me than the quality of the file, if there is even the quality that is fine but the particular moment an image is what attracts us immediately if it is plugged in more photos all very similar, try to put between 10 beautiful bee miniatures placed on perches, one of a bee-eater in flight with a butterfly in its beak, where does your eye? ;-)

Thanks Antonio. Not to get into the throat where the bee-eaters, a few days before I threw the branches found in the vicinity. So I avoid to get close to the nests, shooting only bee that rest happily on the branches, two steps away from the car. And so I avoid ticks: that place is grazed continuously, ticks ... other times we have seen just in time to climb on his pants!
Yesterday then I saw that the preferred gruccioni the dry stalks of what we call "imperial torches," and I moved a few meters the car. These two were there, but in truth I wanted to do them in flight: there was wind and made the holy spirit as kestrels!

Next time, bee-eaters in the Holy Spirit and with macaone in its beak!
