Il Monte Catria con i suoi 1700m. di altitudine offre dalla sua cima una panoramica a 360 gradi di straordinaria bellezza, guardando verso est si può vedere fino alla costa dell'ex Jugoslavia, verso sud dai Sibillini fino al Gran Sasso in Abruzzo, verso ovest si arriva fino al Monte Amiata in Toscana e verso nord si scorge il Monte Titano Repubblica di San Marino. Nel punto più alto nel 1901 è stata costruital in traliccio metallico una imponente croce che è diventata il simbolo di questa meravigliosa montagna.
