Thanks, Tim! I really enjoyed my time in Malaga, despite the weather. It proved to be a rich photographic environment and I still have two or three other images waiting in the wings.

Well the images did need to fly back from Spain with me, so, yes, I guess they're resting their wings in the computer hard drive, which no doubt has its own wings..... Ok - my imagination is going into overdrive..... or is that hard drive?.....

Waiting in the wings comes from theatrical origins, of course - actors waiting to come in onto stage, from the wings of the stage. But you knew that...

I did :)

That's where some of my Malaga images are still waiting, until I have fully prepared them for the spotlight!

I hope that they have learnt their lines!

Have some rather nice Salisbury cathedral interiors taken today with the Sigma macro lens to post up soon - I don't like to post up similar subjects at the same time, but one will be in the morning.

I'll look forward to seeing them. I'm the same - I like to post a variety, if possible. You posting the image you did this evening has made me hold off on my image for a while, too.....

Naturally, I want to post up new images from the D7100 (more from Southampton) but I still have many from the old camera to post up too. There's still plenty of time, of course. Really looking forward to taking the D7100 on a proper day out on a nice day - Friday onwards, I believe.

As for the future very dark oak images, I was faintly astounded at what I could get at f3 and iso 3200 plus stabilised lens - but haven't edited, so maybe they're not quite so good as they looked initially!
