con Canon EF 1.4x II, 1/1600 f/9.0, ISO 500, tripod. Dintorni di Cantagallo, Italy.

Scatto effettuato in Appennino in provincia di Pistoia.Scatto non in set preparato ma in puro stato libero.... Questo uccello negli ultimi dieci anni ha colonizzato in maniera massiccia l'area Appenninica che va dalla Garfagnana fino al Mugello,molte colonie di centinaia di soggetti sono presenti nella zona Prato/Pistoia dove io abito.Non è facile fotografarli allo scoperto,sono soggetti sfuggenti e sempre nel fitto della macchia,almeno che non li si appasti(cibarli) solo in qualche raro caso si fanno vedere, es: questo,soggetto il quale intento a predare insetti e bruchi in cima a delle Vitalbe, con un pò di fortuna ho potuto fare un paio di scatti...dico giusto un paio poi è sparito. Non so dire quali saranno le conseguenze a lungo termine,essendo diventati molto numerosi è certo che sono i competizione con le nostre silvie autoctone....vedremo frà qualche anno quali saranno e se ci saranno le conseguenze. . Diffusione e habitat L' usignolo del Giappone vive in Asia, è originario della Cina , Vietnam,Bangladesch, himalaia indiano e Tibet, è un migratore altitudinale in quanto vive sino a 800 metri e scende a secondo del periodo per procurarsi il cibo, frequenta le regioni montane himalayane. In natura è diffuso nel sottobosco delle foreste di querce e conifere nelle regioni montagnose di India, Sikkim, Birmania e Cina. È anche conosciuto con il nome di “Usignolo di Pechino” perché presente da tempo immemore nella tradizione ornitologica cinese. Si è rinselvatichito ed ambientato anche nelle Hawaii dove esistono oggi popolazioni stanziali che riproducono regolarmente e recentemente anche in Italia, esistono colonie in Liguria e Toscana, Ne esistono sei distinte razze che differiscono leggermente per colorazione della livrea e dimensione generale. Il dimorfismo sessuale, ovvero la differenza tra maschio e femmina è percepibile da un occhio esperto. Il maschio ha colori del piumaggio molto accesi, mentre la femmina ha tutti i colori del piumaggio più tenui, meno sgargianti. In particolare nella femmina le parti superiori del corpo (soprattutto la testa) sono di colore grigio mentre nel maschio si presentano di color verde oliva. L'usignolo del Giappone raggiunge una lunghezza massima di quindici centimetri dalla punta del becco alla punta della coda. La coda è lunga circa cinque centimetri. Il becco è breve con l'estremità ricurva verso il basso. Le ali sono corte, slanciate e con le estremità arrotondate. Le zampe sono esili e corte. Il folto piumaggio presenta una livrea molto attraente con le parti superiori del dorso verde oliva, il petto ventre e cosce sono giallo pallido, la coda color ruggine mentre la gola è di un bel giallo aranciato. Le zampe sono gialle mentre il becco è rosso corallo con la base nera, le ali sono marrone nerastro con il margine giallo arancio.
