The interior of Malaga Cathedral was very lovely but incredibly dark! All the more so because of the horrendous weather conditions outside!

Good compromise between shutter speed, aperture and iso, Ann, in the circumstances and wise again for you to wait until you could process the RAW sufficiently. Plenty of good detail and well exposed throughout - you did well here - gold star! *

Gorgeous. Great black and white. Compliments!

Thanks very much, Tim! It's along time since anyone has given me a gold star! Not the easiest subject matter but it was good to see what I could capture. As you say, it was so much better to be able to use the RAW file.

If you look at my gear list, you can see what camera will be joining me in a couple of days. It's not new and I had to trade in a very exotic lens to even afford anywhere near towards it.

Really? How exciting for you! I hope you won't miss your lens too much but even the most exotic lens is no good without a camera!

Did you see which camera? Sadly, it's the circular fisheye that's gone - but it was for FX full frame only and as I can't use that FX D700 hardly at all either, its circular effect is just lost on DX cropped. I intend to get the DX equivalent Sigma 4.5mm ONE day (far away). And as for the camera, I HAD to move forward, not as much as I'd ideally like but hey... I'm not making any statements at least until I actually have it but had to tell someone (David M knows)

I'm not sure - the D700?
Ah, yes - the circular fisheye. You may miss that some but not an every day lens. I rather fancy a circular fisheye myself but not just yet!

No, the D7100. Successor to the D7000, but not the newest D7200.

Ha! Tossing up between the two, I picked the wrong one! This is newer - should be great! I hope you don't have to wait too long for it!

Off to bed now - I've been up since 3.15 am UK time, although I did grab a couple of hours at the end of the afternoon! 'Night, Tim!
