In effetti ero vicinissimo.
Sembrerebbe una posizione pericolosa ma ero protetto da un muro a dx che in foto non si vede e le auto in questo punto "scivolano" verso l'esterno della curva, a due metri da me c'era un commissario di percorso.

PS: a 18 anni era il mio sogno, Nera con la fascia argento, con le P7 Rally Type da 195/45 (a quei tempi, un /45 era pazzesco). Peccato fosse una bara. Ho preso allora una GTV6 2,5. Non che fosse meno bara ma almeno non ti sentivi dire: "una Talbot? ma sei fuori ?"
Circa la foto, bellissima la ruota dietro ferma e quella anteriore che "raspa" disperata all'interno curva.

PS: 18 years it was my dream, Black with silver band, with the P7 Rally Type 195/45 (in those days, a / 45 was crazy). Too bad it was a coffin. I then took a GTV6 2.5. Not that it was less coffin but at least you did not feel to say: "a Talbot? But you're out?"
About the photo, beautiful behind the wheel stops and the front that "rasp" desperate inside curve.

Si, Sunbeam, raggio di sole, mi sono sbagliato.
Ho avuto la 1600 con la quale ho corso qualche rally, la Lotus era anche il mio sogno ma non me la potevo permettere, l'ho però provata, divertimento puro con la trazione posteriore.
Ormezzano in zona dava lezioni di traverso con quella "strana" macchina, Toivonen era il mio idolo, assieme a Vatanen con la Escort.
Porca miseria...quest'anno il Lana storico lo fanno alla stessa data del mondiale di motocross a Maggiora e me lo perderò completamente. Mi dispiace un casino ma il motocross è stata una mia grande passione e non posso mancare al ritorno di Maggiora nel panorama mondiale.

Grazie Roy, in questa foto sportiva non ci sono ambizioni di estetica, lo sfondo contribuisce a rendere l'idea di una gara ma non è così "bello" da essere rovinato da una bandella per cui anch'io non ritengo necessario levarla.
