Digiscoping: si tratta di abbinare una fotocamera (compatta o reflex APS-C) ad un telescopio terrestre da osservazione semplicemente mettendo in contatto l'obiettivo con l'oculare del telescopio (Detto anche cannocchiale o spektive) mediante l'utilizzo di particolari adattatori. E' possibile per le reflex anche il collegamento diretto fotocamera-telescopio senza l'obiettivo tramite particolari adattatori. Questa tecnica permette di avere focali estremamente lunghe con una qualità discreta e con costi decisamente inferiori ai super tele. E' d'obbligo un sistema estremamente stabile: treppiede- testa solida (meglio se tipo gimbal)- scatto remoto con telecomando a filo o ir- piastra di bilanciamento.
