at 110mm, 1/125 f/2.8, ISO 800, hand held. Roma, Italy.

A little 'cut at the top and bottom (headgear over, sleeve and tool below), the focus is still readable and beautiful even the expression of suonatrice.
I would try (if I were able) to dampen the makeup magenta.
Beautiful.

The trick is emphasized by the stage lights, and those not to be correct. They give character to the recovery.

Ok. It seems to me that stonino a bit 'with the neck skin so as to make it look like a mask. But it's a personal opinion.

It is actually a mask. Have you ever seen a geisha? In Asian culture it is typical.

Perhaps the most "portrait"
there is so much magenta and a little by a little cloying effect
It does not say to much of the forum,
and even the lights in my opinion are too high
very nice background, blurred but readable!
The try to darken as much as possible

As they have suggested would try to reduce the magenta cast due to scene lights ;-)
The composition is balanced, the focus is the strong point of the Nikon 80-200 8-)
ps
I would try to take a BW conversion, inserting a bit 'vignetting and working on whites and blacks to create a contrast between the subject illuminated by the lighthouse in the foreground and the background less bright.

In fact this was the first picture that I developed with acr. I not even know you could fix.

Edit: that is no aberration, but the purple light lighthouse illuminating the scene. Do you see it as well on the face of the musician.

I kept a little 'the shot wider.
The blur is beautiful and it is used well.
The colors are ugly ... Also if desired (not by you) I do not like.
I would have converted to b / w

The portrait is interesting. Unfortunately the light is not the top, very flat but that was, I know. The color on the mask is troooppo magenta, so it seems a giant hematoma! I would have corrected in a bit in pp or even ventured a bn that in my opinion there was not bad! Finally I widened slightly framing and raised a hair on pdr to include the koto (or at least I think it's called that) that plays the geisha ... is a very nice tool, and so is a bit 'sacrificed in my opinion.

As soon as I can, I try the conversion in b / n.
The hematoma giant is not bad ... :-D

Not bad, actually seeing that it is a "mask" as the hands and neck are the right shade (almost).
I maintain that these shots of a moving effect (at least on of hands) would be ideal (dynamic makes the shot), but to 110mm without stabilization think is impossible.
Composed well, even if the other person in the background a little bit disturbing, if I could have the ideal would be to move a little to the left.
For the rest nothing to say, a good portrait.
Marco.

Beautiful portrait, the subject is well insulated but at the same time the background is "readable" in order to contextualize the scene. Technically and composition level nothing to say .. :-)

Good use of selective focus and long enough shutter speed to give dynamism to the hands. Maybe a little 'too narrow framing, still a good document!

Very beautiful.
I would have preferred a frame slightly wider and a rectangular cut (a more conventional 3: 2), the square cut do not like it. Great selective focus.
