This is exactly what Japan is dreaming of visiting; Really a great shot.

Grazie, Marco.

Good morning David,
First of all congratulations on the beautiful gallery on flickr, you've visited most of the places I'd like to see and I think I could even use your itinerary as an inspiration for the travel planning I would like to do on Japanese ground next spring.
I find that the choice of a minimal equipment (but excellent, the shots are perfect) is also essential, and I am "ballasted" by a semi-pro reflex with attached kit, which would be like stone on the neck for a similar trip.
I do not know the reason, I think it is fascinating to observe the continuing traditions that I still see as rooted and proudly maintained, but I feel the psychological need to visit these places, also because, as you reported, we do not know exactly how much we could enjoy it.
