a tear on the face sent on May 02, 2016 (18:10) by Steff. 35 comments, 1703 views. [retina]

I think there is a margin where best crop with 500 +1.4 rather than multiplying x2, you have to find this margin

No doubt the detail that remains after the crop and 'really deadly, I am following the various tests and I would say that is exceeding the greatest !!!!

Always depends on the situation, in this case the light was good and the subject close enough, hence the gap between the two multipliers is lowered and not know if you would have enjoyed significant improvements in the most difficult situations a little too, I suppose Agree crop, if only for the times and the iso, beyond this the result here it definitely seems great! ;-)

it seems to me OVER !!! ie too beautiful !!!
I add that the shoveler cmq is not easy often the white you can not recover very well ... here came out absolutely everything !!!

too generous!
I still shooting in underexposure (comfortable in the M function)
and then recovered further in M.
the camera has a particular function "Highlight tone priority" which should improve the performance of overexposed parts.
I still have not tried and I have no idea how to make

In your steff with lenses that could hold up ???
I give you two choices: 400 f5.6 or 100-400II + 1,4III

certainly 500 is the master also this case !!!
It would have to experience it with these lenses a bit cheaper

I am not canon lawyer ... but I would be just to follow your evidence ... ;-)

HD is really great stuff Stefano.
If I were still in the canon I would do us a little thought ... ;-)

but it is not this canon recommends you only the latest generation of lenses or otherwise at the top of the range ???
I'd be curious to see it a try with the old 400 5.6 that now many consider an old iron but in reality, I think, in many cases still it speaks volumes. certainly is an attempt !!!
moreover, only field trials can I say ...
still it continues that these tests make you do even beautiful pictures !!!

I tried for a long time these solutions. It 's always better to use duplicators to crop it. If just 1.4 otherwise okay if you need the 2x you have to use. On the other hand, if it were not so doublers would not exist .... would be enough to crop ;-)

In my view good result even with 2x, then considering that it is a portrait made from whole topic .... great HD, I almost agree with what he says Alessandro regarding the use of duplicators rather than the crop I say almost, because at least for me, is a very difficult assessment to do ... keep it up with these interesting and useful evidence, Riccardo hello.
