Crociera: Mosca-San Pietroburgo. Una tappa di questa mitica crociera, è stata l'antica città di Yaroslav, fondata nel 1010 dal principe Yaroslav il Saggio. Notevole è la seicentesca cattedrale di Sant'Elia, tutta decorata con affreschi del settecento e antichissime icone, di cui una Madonna con Bambino del cinquecento. A pochi metri, in un bellissimo parco, si trova il Monastero della Trasfigurazione. Anticamente esso "governava" tutto il territorio circostante la città di Yaroslav e per questo è molto ricco ed anche fortificato. Proprio accanto all'ingresso del Monastero, questo silenzioso e assorto personaggio, suonava la lira, incurante dei gruppi vocianti dei turisti.
