Ann - whilst you jet off to Spain, I so love England in spring - look at how many shades of green there are? Come June and it's one uniform green. I did have to walk up quite a big hill, over a mile out of the town for this. The only thing to break the stillness was an occasional, tiny movement from a distant cow. I so love England in the spring, too! I can't imagine anywhere that I'd rather live than here but spring is also my favourite time in Spain! There are so many other beautiful places I would love to visit, too...... like Tuscany (as I'm sure many people on Juza would agree!)

Well, I just don't have any choice, Ann, but I sure the hell am going to make the most of my enforced stay! This week looks mostly OK - I was wearing gloves, big coat and a scarf out there this morning! Thermals could have been useful too! The main road wasn't that busy at 6.15 a.m. but the lorries there were certainly broke the silence. |
