Ho passato una sola notte alla Quiver Tree Forest, a Keetmanshoop, in Namibia, perciò ho puntato tutto su quelle poche ore a mia disposizione. Madre natura però sembrava tramare alle mie spalle ( già appesantite da 5000km di viaggio ), mettendomi a disposizione: notte di luna piena - che mi lasciava 50 minuti di buio - e un temporale pazzesco che girava come un avvoltoio sopra di me....Ma il mio spirito mica si lascia abbattere da così poco, no, forse nemmeno un fulmine in fronte mi avrebbe fermata, così mi sono piazzata lì, nel buio -oooohhhh!!- , col mio treppiedi e la torcia da testa e ho scattato ad un cielo mezzo coperto dalle nuvole, con dei lampi continui all'orizzonte e una luna che splendeva come un sole....roba che mi ha incasinato qualunque scelta di tempi e diaframmi...ma alla fine, il risultato mi è piaciuto! E me ne sono andata da lì dopo un'oretta solo perché una qualche strana creatura dal verso demoniaco, e non da sola, ha iniziato ad avvicinarmisi sempre di più, facendo versi sempre più acuti e agghiaccianti....e lì lo spirito ha avuto qualche cedimento... ;)
