Could have done with a tripod here, as I needed depth of field to cover both foreground street art and the neon lit Brick Lane beyond.

The foreground is lit only by ambient city light, made blue by the rainy, cold atmosphere and helped by lots of shadow detail extraction in editing.

The wall in the foreground looks disconcerting as one part sticks out towards us, but the painted design is made to look as if it's on one plane of distance.

It was raining quite hard and a car was running its engine behind me, but not seeming to want to leave the carpark, so I just had to get on with taking my pictures.

I do rather like this one and am pleased I could handhold at 1/15th second! It's good to push oneself and really challenge all skills as a photographer.

A very successful image, Tim - I really like this! I love the way the pink light is spilling across the walls and wet ground, as if they have just been dowsed in paint!

Gorgeous. The warm lights of the room and its luminous heat up the atmosphere of the gray urban environment, stressed the graffiti which are very present.
