The idea I like Vincenzo (Signature in the middle part), but I wonder; The spots on the boulder What are they?

Maluc Hello, thanks for the comment.
Does not understand what you mean .. stains the rocks in the foreground are the Apennine limestone boulders. By their nature are tormented rocks and rich in various kinds of deposits, even vegetable (moss).
The red spots (if you're referring to that) are produced by the light of the setting sun, which illuminates the same part of the tree and grass in general.

Ciao

Riccardo

Beautiful nature it gave emotions. It almost seems that the two trees were colored on purpose to make the most of the different plans. Only a careful and expert eye could enclose them between the boulders in the foreground and mountains in the background without losing their strength. Emotionally send me a message of great strength, now it seems all over but the intertwining branches of two trees seem a make a whole and create a sculpture that perhaps saved her from cutting. Never give up. Congratulations indeed for what you have been able to resume.

Hello

Riccardo

Marco

I've never been on the Pollino, your picture makes me want to go there. He fought a lot that tree to live in that place, eventually lost, but its seeds maybe they won. Nature makes no discounts.

Marco

Sorry.........
un saluto
Maluc

Yes, I was referring to those maccchie and I ask you to excuse two times. The first is just to those spots, the latter 's failure to put the well-deserved "MI like it." Sorry .........
A greeting
Maluc

ciao
Simone

The subject is beautiful, the composition is beautiful, the setting is beautiful, the moment of light is magnificent.
I think there is every reason to define this photo .... beautiful :-D
only thing that I would "criticize" but only exclusively as my personal feeling and taste is the post production ... a little too open shadows and the boulder in the foreground for me is too chiaro.soprattutto in the lower left it too draws attenzione.Con first floor darker I think it would have created a more effective natural setting for that tree, the only true protagonist of the scene, but then again that's just my idea, and I just wanted to let it get to know.
compliments as usual

ciao!

I agree with the Commissioner, I too find it a beautiful composition that shows the power of nature with the trunk bent by the wind, but the tones are a bit 'too flat, it lacks contrast.
An intervention on the tones would be, in my opinion, necessary after the HDR process, not only on the shadows but also on the lights, it is assumed that the warm light on the trunk create the most marked contrasts and tone mapping has snaturalizzato a little reality here the reason for the perception of spots that had Maluc.
A higher contrast would give even more power to the image enhancing dynamism.

Ottima immagine, complimenti.
Ciao.

Landscape, light, composition and atmosphere I like the bike, for me the brightness of the foreground may drop a little, maybe just there was a diagonal gnd at the top ...
Excellent image, congratulations.

Splendida e momento di luce molto bello colto sapientemente.

Ilario

Beautiful by subject, composition and atmosphere!
I would see well darker the foreground and the less open shadows.
However, it is to be complimented.

Grazie a tutti per i commenti! :)

Thank you all for the comments! :)
To answer a little for everyone: from a technical point of view the photo was taken using two ndg filters, one hard and one soft seats both diagonally (as rightly imagined by Catherine). This is to limit the effect of the shaft transition.
With a similar filtering the first floor tends to be made clear while.
At the time (the photo is of last year) I worked out a version with better contrast on the first floor but then opted for this that I have presented here. Views your comments as soon as I can (I'm traveling at the moment) I'm going to recover me the other version for comparison.
Thanks again to all of you for the feedback!
