Il Ricetto di Candelo, risalente al XIII secolo, era adibito allo stocaggio di prodotti agricoli. Come altri ricetti, é circondato da mura, peraltro non molto alte, ed é dotado di torri di avvistamento. In questo ricetto fortificato si radunava la popolazione contadina in caso di assalti nemici o di briganti. Ringrazio gli amici Massimo Schiavi e Micio per la bella giornata che abbiamo trascorso insieme dedicandoci alla nostra comune passione fotografica.
