L'installazione site-specific de I Sette Palazzi Celesti, 2004 deve il suo nome ai Palazzi descritti nell'antico trattato ebraico Sefer Hechalot, il “Libro dei Palazzi/Santuari” risalente al IV-V secolo d.C., in cui si narra il simbolico cammino d'iniziazione spirituale di colui che vuole avvicinarsi al cospetto di Dio. Le sette torri - del peso di 90 tonnellate ciascuna e di altezze variabili tra i 14 e i 18 metri - sono realizzate in cemento armato utilizzando come elementi costruttivi moduli angolari dei container per il trasporto delle merci

Prova ad immaginarla avvolta da una "cover", d'istinto ho pensato ad uno smarthphone irreale, forse "stellare"..., cosa non fa la suggestione e la fantasia quando l'immagine tocca corde nascoste nel nostro animo...
