This was the last shot of the day and the last of the week in Dorset. I returned home to an empty home, my wife of 16 years had abandoned me and it was beginning of a 5 year roller coaster through hell. So when ever I look upon this photograph, it evokes very painful memories. I knew I was returning to an empty house that night which made the drive home from Dorset even more difficult. The next day I had a wedding to photograph, which went very well but it was extremely tough shooting some one's marriage when my own has fallen apart so disastrously. I would say to anyone who's going through a tough spot in their relationship.....fix it with every effort you have. The pain of breakup is the worst scenario.
