Sesto Calende, Piazza Mazzini. Domenica 10 aprile 2016, 16:54. Si tratta di una DS seconda serie, prodotta dal 1967 al 1975. E' caratterizzata dai fanali, detti "occhi di gatto" che la differenziano dalla prima serie, prodotta dal 1955 al 1967. La DS fu disegnata dall'italiano (nato a Masnago in provincia di Varese) Flaminio Bertoni (1903-1964), capo del centro stile della Citroen e uno dei più grandi designer automobilistici del '900. Era anche architetto e scultore in marmo (lavoro per cui notoriamente occorre una grande manualità ed è impossibile rimediare agli errori); praticamente un uomo del Rinascimento nato per sbaglio nel '900. Pochi giorni prima di morire disegnò appunto i fanali "occhi di gatto" che, in occasione del restyling del 1967, il suo allievo e successore Robert Opron realizzò fedelmente. #Auto #AutoStoriche #AutoClassica #Jura
