It's nice to photograph and share photos of less dramatic and gentler subjects that I come across on my walks! It's not all about storms and black and white drama! This is the little ferry I came across and travelled on, when it returned, across the mouth of the River Stour, Dorset, yesterday. |

A very pleasant and colourful image, Tim! Now I see it, I realise that I have passed by it but it looked completely different when I was there! www.juzaphoto.com/galleria.php?t=1789176&l=en Let me know when you've seen it because it's an awful image and I have no intention of leaving it on Juza! :) |

This was taken in February when I walked from a little before this spot (Tuckton?) to the end of the spit with the beach huts then back via the top of the headland - so quite a walk and lots of flooding! |

There was still quite a lot of flooding - the cattle were wading, not grazing! I thought this spot was Tuckton too but that might be further inland - this is called the Wick Ferry after all! Looking at the large scale map, the village of Wick is the built up area between Tuckton and Hengistbury. |

Lol! it hadn't occurred to me that the Wick Ferry was in Wick!!! :)) |
