A Mumbai si trova uno degli slum più antichi, il suo nome è Dharavi, ha una economia attiva in cui si distinguono numerose imprese domestiche che impegnano molti dei residenti dei quartieri poveri... è stimato che all'interno delle baraccopoli viva il 54% della popolazione di Mumbai! In questo caso fondevano trucioli di alluminio, vi lascio immaginare il caldo al suo interno! in più la temperatura esterna non aiutava, si aggirava di poco sopra i 40° e l'aria non era proprio delle più salutari...

Mi sono innamorato del Dharavi fin dalla prima volta che ci sono stato tanto che alla prima occasione ci sono tornato e sto già programmando di tornarci.....
Anche io ho fotografato lo stesso identico posto tanto che pensavo fosse una foto postata da qualcuno del mio gruppo :-P

La prima volta ci sono stato ad aprile di ritorno dalle tigri e poi a Gennaio; Mumbai è una città di grande fascino per i suoi contrasti e prossimamente vorrei dedicargli più tempo ed mandare anche negli altri slum come quello dove hanno girato The Millionaire...

Ce ne sono di grandi anche a Kolkata o Delhi ma io intendo l' altro slum di Mumbai di cui la mia guida mi ha detto cose estremamente interessanti...
In Rajasthan, faremo la fiera di Pushkar e, grazie ad un amico che lo conosce come le sue tasche, altre fiere e mercati sconosciuti o quasi ed andremo a visitare villaggi Rabari e Gujar dove non hanno mia visto un turista :-P
