A mano libera non potevi fare molto di piu,o mettevi a fuoco la spiga o il resto.Poi,oltre sotto certe distanze minime un obiettivo non riesce piu a mettere a fuoco,e probabilmente la spiga era entro questa soglia.Buono il resto dell'immagine.

Avresti dovuto mettere prima a fuco la spiga e poi magari spostarla su di un lato della foto, e poi scattare, con un diaframma leggermente piu chiuso avresti avuto una maggiore profondità di campo.
