#viola Grazie a Giordano che mi ha detto il nome aggingo alcune note sulla pianta tratte da internet:Il nome generico (Hepatica) venne introdotto dal botanico scozzese Philip Miller (Chelsea,1691 ? Chelsea, 1771) in una pubblicazione del 1754 e deriva dal greco antico hèpar oppure hèpatos (= fegato), nome derivato dalla forma particolare delle foglie ma anche dal colore della pagina inferiore della foglie stesse[2]. Il nome specifico (nobilis) deriva dal latino (= notabile, noto, conosciuto), probabilmente per la notorietà che questa pianta aveva nel passato per le sue supposte proprietà farmacologiche. Inoltre non va dimenticato l'antico concetto della Signatura (principio delle affinità formali) col quale si collegava certi effetti terapeutici sul fegato con il colore della pagina inferiore delle sue foglie. Il nome comune erba trinità deriva dal Medioevo in quanto negli affreschi di carattere religioso spesso le foglie di questa pianta servivano a simboleggiare uno dei dogmi cristiano-cattolici relativi alla natura di Dio. Il binomio scientifico attualmente accettato (Hepatica nobilis) è stato proposto dal naturalista germanico Johann Christian Daniel von Schreber (Weißensee, Turingia, 1739 ? Erlangen, 1810) in una pubblicazione del 1771. In lingua tedesca questa pianta si chiama Leberblümchen; in francese si chiama Hépatique à trois lobes ; in inglese si chiama: Liverleaf.
