Per quel che riguarda il soggetto, l'ho atteso tutta una giornata dalle 6 del mattino alle 8 di sera e sotto il diluvio con temperature non proprio estive, anche se era agosto, ma quel giorno non ne volle sapere di farsi vedere. Il mattino dopo mi sono appostato intorno alle 5,15 nel capanno basso e dopo neanche 10 minuti ecco uscire questo splendido animale da dietro una roccia. A quel punto, vista l'ora e la scarsa luce ho alzato al massimo gli ISO e il risultato è ciò che vedi senza sharpen, solo correzione di esposizione e contrasto. Visto l'esperienza del giorno precedente, ho preferito portare a casa questo ritratto, piuttosto che abbassare gli ISO e avere del mosso.
