The sun attracted my attention as I was making a long journey home today so, of course, I had to pull over so that I could take a photo! This is completely unprocessed other than a very minor crop and the removal of a spot that has decided to attach itself to my camera's sensor! The halo around the sun is exactly as I could see it, it's not a reaction of the camera! A little research tells me that it is not uncommon but I'm not at all sure that I have seen it before!
