Bella foto, ottima l'uniformità su tutto il fotogramma, senza vignettature.
Hai ripreso dei flat?
Notevole la zona di M8, M24, M16 e M17, e anche quella di Antares.

Complimenti;-)

Valerio show really, the only thing missing is the veil just below the rest of north america perfect! D800E This is driving me crazy!

Grazie a tutti

Hello, The D800E is standard, I did not remove the UV / IR filter cut. As with the D700, the sensitivity of the red is not bad even by "standard", just acquisisre enough signal, then the final color balance you do when converting RAW, taking care to remove a little 'Blue from the red channel , and you're done. For the data here it is: seven poses of 180 seconds each at ISO 1,600, all of AstroTrac, taken by the Apennines to the border with Lombardy, Liguria and Emilia at about 1,400 meters above sea level. Processing with IRIS and Photoshop. I have not taken Dark but I applied the flat field (9). It seems to me you have not forgotten anything, otherwise, ask! ;-)

Ciao

Bravo Valerio, this sensor is not 'only sensitive but' a resolution crazy, I'd like to see a mosaic of VL (zone Scorpio) compound with, for example using the AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G that the test seems to superb the astroimaging.
You're doing a little astrophotography leading the way with the nikon d800e, and you're doing great!
Congratulations, can not wait to see more pictures.

Thanks Vapaol, I have other, made right in the area of ??the Galactic center, but with the 50mm f / 1.4 G, as soon as they are ready to place. Please note that the photo taken with the 14-24mm is similar to mosaics made with 50mm SLR but with lower resolution, without the hassle of combining the individual frames and triple the time of recovery. I am very pleased with this machine, and not just for this kind of photo

Grazie e perdonate l'ignoranza in materia

First of all congratulations I really like it!

Then from Nikonist I wanted to ask how can you have such a wide range of colors? I've always seen only on Canon in photographs of the Milky Way.
Personally, I use a D700 but every time I photograph the milky way or I get all the reddish or blue. What color temperature do you use?
I always shot in RAW but also to try to change the color temperature and tint I am a crap: D
Or should I work on individual channels as I've read that you did?

Thanks and forgive the ignorance

La prima regola è andare sotto cieli bui! Quindi alta montagna e lontano dai centri abitati.

The first rule is to go under dark skies! So high mountains and away from population centers. For the color temperature septum anything special rule then being converted to have a neutral sky, leaving only the remaining colors. Should be increased then a little 'saturation curves and of course to improve the contrast

Valerio hello, I would have done some dark, I saw the full version and I noticed several gradients scattered here and there and the background I see a little tacked on the green, try to make some dark and you'll see that the image will change appearance !! ! ;-) ;-)
it is clear that mine is just a suggestion ;-) ;-)
