There is a giant fruiting tree in the area we were staying the size of an apartment block. In the morning the White-faced Capucin's came out of the jungle swinging from tree to tree to forage. Secondly came the larder Spider Monkeys who then took over the trees and the Capucin's left. Finally came the Howler Monkeys that usually moved to the very highest branches of the fruiting tree. This was the daily ritual for the 3 species of monkey that are native to Los Guatuzos.
