.. The only problem is that I just mounted the 70-300 and the scene was one meter from me :-)

Bella, the scene being shot is worth a thousand times more than a technically perfect but it says nothing.

Greetings

quoto 100%, the scene transmits emotion, this is what counts (at least for me). also excellent composition.
The prey would seem just a slow-worm

great scene, well captured and composed, congratulations!
only criticism technical f20 aperture, excessive on aps-c.

great scene! very nice composition with the coils of two serpents that fill all diagonal of the frame.
I agree with Marcom too close to the diaphragm: an aperture at f / 9 (or more open yet) you have permission to use a speed of 1/1250 (or higher) in gaining clarity; over f/11 f/13 on APSC diffraction is felt and lose quality significantly

Thank you all for your compliment .. have an incentive to improve .. For Marcom and Parvati: I will try to keep in mind your advice and use the widest apertures (.. and to document myself on diffraction:-D), although in this case, the scene was so sudden and close that I could not do otherwise !
