Non solo una scala... questo ho pensato sulla strada del ritorno da Venezia quando all'interno di un cortile nella penombra ho visto questa scala vissuta. Mi sono immaginato in tutti questi secoli, quante persone potevano aver calpestato quei gradini, quante vi si sono sedute solamente per riposare o quanti baci furtivi sono stati consumati nel discreto della sua oscurità, avrà visto molti personaggi famosi e molta gente comune, ed ha resistito imperterrita alla devastante epidemia della peste nera.
