Occultation of Rohini Nakshtra or aldebaran star. Yesterday on March 14, 2016, Moon was directly between Rohini Nakshtra or Aldebaran star and the earth . Star was disappeared behind the Moon and reappeared again, like the solar eclipse Moon comes between Sun and Earth. This event is called as Occultation. Occultation was started at 8 h 30min 30sec in the evening and Aldebaran was reappeared on 8h 59 min 59 sec. Few of the images are presented here, showing just at the time of going on Aldebaran behind the Moon and reappearing it again. Hope you will like them . (Photographs were taken at 6400 ISO at 1/30 sec, handheld. So they are not very good However I am happy that I could capture this event. )

Thank you Ann for your kind comments. You can see the Aldebaran star coming out of the Moon is seen better only in the HD.

Regards,
Satish.
