Lo sfondo è molto bello così come il controluce, la composizione non mi convince del tutto, forse avrei preferito un taglio verticale con la parte bassa occupata dal cormorano e i rami.

Piacevoli le cromie dello sfondo.
Il posatoio (vedi chiome) è secondo me invadente anche con un taglio verticale.
Nel senso che la chioma a sinistra non potevi non includerla e risulta più grande della silhuette del cormorano distraendo il nostro sguardo.
