On the same bright March day as my previous tug shot, my friend Mike and I found these Citroens parked under this modern residential block in the Historic Harbour, Bristol. I remember Mike's Sigma 12-24mm superwide on his D3 just gave him totally uncontrolled flare blobs and gross underexposure. My DX 10-24mm suffered far less but still had a couple of big green flare blobs, which I (almost) removed by desaturating the greens from the edited image. I then desaturated the yellows, then the blues, to give a low contrast and rather surreal end result. The scene was unusual enough to spend some time and effort editing, I think! |

I like that the red-white combination is both in the building and in the (legendary) cars. Marvelous shot. |

Thank you Ann - something quirky for everybody today, rather like the 'Tin Snail' "CVs themselves and as I'd pointed out, quite the opposite in editing compared to the very straightforward tug shot. |

Thank you so much Jypka - I agree, it was this strange red/white combination that alerted me at the time that there was a promising photo to come. |
