Ciao Naomi.
Bella l'idea.

Hello Naomi.
Nice idea. In my opinion it would have been preferable to make a few steps forward to give greater importance to the central part of the frame that is really interesting with its almost perfect symmetry, without having to renounce to the lines formed by the grass in the foreground.
To give added strength to these lines that lead the eye to the subject would have also lowered the point of recovery.

Maybe you did not have a tripod with you and why did you have to shoot at full aperture with a really long time (even if the stabilizer has certainly helped you).
In these cases I prefer to turn a bit 'the diaphragm and increase the ISO. I believe in the shots of scenery is acceptable to have a minimum of noise just to have an adequate depth of field.

In summary: Shooting with great potential. If you have made close to home recommend to try again to get the best from this location! ;-)
Hello,
Diego.

PS: If you decide to try it again this time the stand take it though! :-P
