Crazy Composition! (Paddington Basin) sent on March 05, 2016 (18:04) by Timk2. 16 comments, 1462 views. [retina]

at 10mm, 1/500 f/9.0, ISO 200, hand held. London, United Kingdom.

Those teaching photography would probably be having a heart attack at such antics, but I wasn't falling over into the Basin at the time, nor was it down to a toppling tripod, but I actually chose to angle this new development (same place as the black and white one) like this, as I wanted to emphasise the foreground wooden benches. Yes, it could have worked in black and white as well, but I like how the blues of the windows and blues in the sky contrast with the almost monochrome foreground. You might not like the end result, but it is certainly rather different!

It is always great to try something different and crazy. A little "shock" is every now and then in place. MrGreenMrGreen
