Le Crassula sono delle diffusissime piante succulenti, presenti in quasi tutte le nostre case e sono originarie delle zone aride dell'Africa meridionale. La Crassula portulacea o Crassula argentea è una bella Crassula alta fino ad 1 metro con fusti spessi anche 7 cm nella parte basale.Le foglie sono molto carnose di un bel colore verde intenso e con fiori bianco-rosati che compaiono in primavera.
