Anticamente era denominata Sala delle Vittorie per il soggetto della tela centrale del soffitto seicentesco dove Giovanni Paolo e Giovanni Antonio Recchi raffigurarono La Vittoria nell'atto di distribuire palme e corone e la Fama che con la tromba fa risuonare i trionfi guerreschi riportati dagli eroi della Casa di Savoia con il motto "Habet Victoria laudem". Nel fregio vennero raffigurate battaglie vittoriose combattute dai Principi di Casa Savoia. Nel XIX secolo, per volere di Carlo Alberto, vennero realizzate le grandi tele recentemente ricollocate sulle pareti: a sinistra Federico Barbarossa cacciato dal popolo durante l'assedio di Alessandria di Carlo Arienti, di fronte Il Conte Amedeo III che giura la Sacra Lega di Susa (1149) di Ferdinando Cavalleri e tra le finestre Gli abitanti di Aisone in Val di Stura, assalgono valorosamente i Francesi capitanati dal Principe di Conti e ne incendiano le tende (1746) di Francesco Gonin. Negli stessi anni venne realizzato il camino pagaiano, sormontato da specchiera, sulla cui mensa è collocato un orologio di manifattura parigina.
