Nota da un documento del 25 novembre 1248, parrocchia indipendente fino al 1475, quando per rinuncia del rettore della chiesa gli Spinola, feudatari della zona la incorporarono alla parrocchia di Mongiardino Ligure. Nel 1647 tornò ad essere parrocchia indipendente per volonta del vescovo di Genova Stefano Durazzo e fu assegnata al prete tortonese Tomaso Morando, unico sacerdote che accettò l'incarico. La chiesa venne riparata molte volte dal 1790 #Abbandono #urbex
