A pair of roe deer live in this crematorium and aren't scared too much of people. There is a warning notice that the deer like to eat any real flowers left by mourners, especially roses! This is the buck. |

That is a really special sight! I like this a lot! The key points of interest for me are the deer, the beautifully soft open book and pink flowers, and the cross with the more vibrant flowers - they make a great visual triangle and what makes the image work so well as a whole. |

Yes, Ann, thank you, there is an awful lot going on and quite ramshackle but it still is quite restful and doesn't jar. I could look again and again. Note the naturally growing daffodils - there were snowdrops too here, yesterday. |

Oh, yes - there are a lot of daffodils in churchyards at the moment! I have photographed them multiple times in the past couple of weeks but have yet to take an image that I've been totally happy with - not least because it always seems to be so jolly windy that the daffodils just won't stand still and pose properly! :)) |
