Great Valerio, nice shot considering single shot well I must say that I congratulate you the car that you have nothing to take off we're back! I ask you a question dry, we should use the E for astronomy?

From what I've seen using other machines with AA filter (D3, D700, D300s, D200 etc. .. and Canon 1DS, 5D mk III, 450D, 300D) I'd say it improves puntiformità, so yes, I think it would be the best choice appropriate for this kind of shooting

ciao
Chiara

Behold, these are the individual poses that when you see them even in the preview of the reflex and think about what will come out when they put together at least a dozen early not to be so excited! Excellent! You've also made other or were only testing single shots?

hello

" scatto singolo no dark no flat...?

single shot no dark no flat ...?
Yes, single shot, without dark, no flat, with noise reduction for high ISO and long exposure to the disabled car. Shooting in NEF only converted to Jpeg which has been selected only the white balance during the conversion, all with Nikon Capture NX 2

... I'd like to see the edited photo, if you have time ...

Here it is, unfortunately it was already late evening and was setting, so I'm just 15 minutes total integration and always without dark ...

Here it is, the link does not work with the preview:

Ciao

Absolutely fantastic, only 15 minutes and no dark, I can not even imagine the results that could generate a quadruplet FSQ 106 and giving in some dark meal.
I will follow 'your work with pleasure Valerio.
Actually I think that the sensor is close to the quality 'of the SBIG CCD or other thing in the end media.Una escapes me, to those who were working for the iso photo m8, m20?

If I tried to take a picture even a few minutes with one of those expensive CCD, you would notice a yield infinitely worse than a normal reflex modern. The big advantage of the D800E and recent DSLRs is that they get similar results (approx) but at temperatures quite different. If you used a Cold box I think he would see some good! Pretend that the lens I used is much lower all'FSQ Takahashi is a goal whose initial design was for a request from the Navy for optics with excellent performances endlessly and in a wide range of frequencies, from blue to near infrared, making it ideal for astrophotography.
PS
I put a shot with the 50mm of the galactic center

In that sense, think of a ground photo? Whether or not she had a cold?

is the same, also a pose of 3 minutes at 15 degrees C with, for example, a Sbig ST8 that with the new port filters for a color picture as for d800e, costs more or less the same but has a resolution well below the yield would be incomparable. The great advantage derives from the possibility of handling the temperatures, and have the dark taken exactly at the same temperature is something virtually impossible for a reflex, as well as a dynamic high however. The ccd win, and win, thanks to this. Filming done with scientific rigor, at certain temperatures, constant in time and perfectly calibrated. If you compare two raw images, without dark it Fiat, SLRs are the masters in many situations
