Bearded Vulture Suede! sent on February 23, 2016 (21:57) by Ricky_71. 38 comments, 3345 views. [retina]

at 550mm, 1/2000 f/9.0, ISO 2000, hand held. Parco Nazionale del Gran Paradiso, Italy. Specie: Gypaetus barbatus

#Wild

Thanks Andrea, Mark and Paul for the visit, the shot is not the best in quality but the conditions were really hard to Andrea who was alongside him can confirm, certain that if he waited a few minutes was really another thing, but maybe next time ! ;-)

or shooting is not the best in quality but the conditions were really hard to Andrea who was alongside him can confirm

I confirm how!
A crazy wind, wow! plus we were very unlucky, we passed over, that is when we were going up in a head covered by a big rock.
Riccardo was very good (apart from the Kulo chamois background :-D) to be able to focus on it with rocks in the background as we were tossed about by the winds, I miss the place so my fans caghè :-(

Bravo as usual Ricky.

Thanks Andrea but this time it's just luck, with this wind I miss we had hoped had gone out something decent, for Suede agree fully :-D :-D

But put them well as yours, who understands something naturalistic know how well they are certain shooting conditions !! ;-)

Ricky, very nice capture in a great setting. Like the wing position, the detail, and the lighting. A little more subject size (crop) might have helped. Still a nice capture documenting the capture and showing the context. Wally

Ricky Grande and large you to resist these conditions.
Your photography is beautiful because of its naturalness. It makes me seem to be there with you / you to enjoy (and suffer ... that cold!).
This time caught tells me the will power, technology, good fortune (even that) .And and 'everything I look for and where they are happy to share in wildlife photography with you and with all your friends (a bit crazy as he says my wife..)
Thank you for this shot, and again congratulations
